I watch this film every xmas i love to sit and find all the blobs or Goofs as you call em in english - i love all the old war movies speciel the once who can relate to the real history, Thx for a great website

Best war movie of all time. We watch it as a family over Christmas holidays it is a family tradition. It is a great cold weather film. Actors are classics, scenery and music great. We repeat most lines by memory

I see where a lot of fans of the movie are interested in the Camo Parka that was worn by the main actors. I have found out that the West German parka of the 1960/1980 is of a close match. I ordered one on EBAY and it was a very close match,just had a little more color to the design. I was very pleased.
