only thing will always trouble me is the first paratroopers death ... not explainable, he was in company when leaving the plane,and found in virgin snow... how could one of the agents have broken his neck from the plane to the ground ? they were hundreds of feet apart in falling parachutes !

I recently read the Wiki for Mary Ure after finding out she had been married to Robert Shaw at one time, who actually appeared in another McLean move (Force 10 from Navarone, IIRC). However, my main point here is to say how sorry I was to see how her personal life was messed up and how it was ended due to an overdose. Such unhappiness in her life.

My father made the Nazi uniforms for Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood. His firm was a specialist uniform tailor in London and he had to copy the sizes from jackets etc of the stars without actually meeting them much to my dismay!

I am almost positive that the main theme from the Ron Goodwin soundtrack was used in an early trailer (months before the movie opened) for the CG animated movie The Incredibles. I believe This is fairly common practice when a film is still in production or post production and the soundtrack is not finished. I could be wrong, anyone remember this?
