Biography
Elliot Kastner got his education at the University of Miami and Columbia. His first job related to movies was as an talent scout. His first assignmnet as producer came 1965, with the Bus Riley’s Back in Town (Universal). After this a series of international productions followed, among others Where Eagles Dare (1969), Zee and Co. (1973) and Equus (1977). Maybe he’s most famous for his productions of Raymong Chandler’s books. Here you can find movies like Long Goodbye (1973) and Farewell My Lovely (1975). His later movies haven’t been great success, with one exception: Angel Heart from 1987.
