John Jympson

Biography

John Jympson is a very experienced editor. He as a long and prolific career in the British and American cinema.

He was born in London and he got his education at Dulwich College.

His first job in film came 1960 with A French Mistress. After this first assignment lots of movies have followed, including Where Eagles Dare (1969), Kelly’s Heroes (1970), Alfred Hitchcook’s Frenzy (1972) and A Fish Called Wanda (1988). He has also worked for director Frank Oz in three movies: In & Out (1997), Little Shop of Horrors (1986) and Housesitter (1972). He has edited the miniseries The Martian Chronicles (1980) and The Far Pavilions (1984).
