Biography
In his autobiography Stunt Man, the pioneering Where Eagles Dare Second Unit Director Yakima Canutt described Alf Joint as “one of the world’s great high fallers”. Joint’s movie work includes Where Eagles Dare and Kelly’s Heroes, while for TV he devised and performed (doubling for Eric Porter’s Moriarty) the climactic plunge in the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Final Problem for Jeremy Brett’s Granada series. He was credited as the (masked) Big Man in A Touch of Brimstone. He also had small roles, for example in the James Bond movie Goldfinger.

I met him once, but then i was young and didn´t understand how big he was.
He was the trainer/mentor for Sedens first/best known stuntman – Johan Thorén, who also worked with Mr. Joint in a couple of films.
